Looking back on a very eventful season for Sam, we got together and asked him a few questions about how he felt it went.

If you could use a song to sum up your season, what song would you choose?

I would have to pick Don’t stop believin’ by Journey as when times got tough it reminded me that i just need to keep going and believe in myself and my team.

What was the first thing that went through your mind when you found out you had a MotoGP ride next year?

I had always dreamed of riding in MotoGP so when i found out it was literally a dream come true and i just couldnt wait to get on the bike.

What will you miss most about Moto2?

I think i will miss the level playing field that the rules deliver but i will definitely miss each and every one of my amazing team who stood by me through thick and thin.

If you could relive one race from this season, which one would it be and why?

Easy, it would be Aragon any day of the week, it was a really easy race and i could have done it again once it finished.

Do you have any pre-race rituals or superstitions?

Nope, i just get on the bike and get going!
